Happy Holidays to all. I hope you had a great time with family. I decided to give myself some food for Christmas. I absolutely did not want to do traditional. I had purchased all this XL Seafood and what a perfect time to dive in.
Christmas Crab Boil Recipe
Crab Boil Seasoning Mix Recipe
1/2 tbsp Salt
1 tbsp Parsley
1/2 tbsp Cloves
1/2 tbsp Nutmeg
1 tbsp Cinnamon
2 tbsp Brown Sugar
1 tbsp Onion Powder
1 tbsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Black Pepper
1/2 tbsp Ground Cumin
1 tbsp Red Pepper Flakes
1/2 tbsp Cayenne Pepper
1 tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
1 tbsp Tony’s Creole Seasoning
Instructions: Mix Well and store in a 8oz Mason Jar, Seasoning Jar, or Bowl with cover. You can use this in butter sauce and Crab Boil. Put to the side.
Butter Sauce Recipe
1 cup Onion Slice
1 cup Celery Diced
1 lb Unsalted Butter
1-2 Freshly Squeezed Lemons
2-4 tbsp Crab Boil Seasoning Mix
Instructions: Place Butter in Medium Size pot. Add Crab Boil Seasoning Mix. Add Lemon Juice. Add Celery and Onions (Tip: You can use the onions and celery from the boil). Let Simmer on Med-Med Low until the Onions and Celery are translucent.
Crab Boil Recipe
Fill a Stock Pot 1/2 Full.
Add 2 Blue Crab
Add 6 XL Scallops
Add 2 Large Eggs
Add 1 Bay Leaf
Add Crab Boil Seasoning
Add Beef Smoked Sausage
Add Corn on Cob (Cut into 4pcs)
Add 1 cup Onion
Add 4pcs Garlic
Add 1 cup Celery
Add 1 cup Orange Juice
Add 1 Freshly Squeezed Onion
Add 3 Baby Lobster aka XL Shrimp
Let Boil for 30 minutes.
Dispose of Bat Leaf. Plate. Top with Crab Boil Seasoning and Serve with Butter Sauce. ENJOY!
* The Meat Choices and Spicy Seasonings are optional. Brown Sugar will off set spicy.
